Maybe it’s because of my puny brain, but I don’t quite follow what’s being discussed in this description of xFolk. From what I can tell it’s a markup extension to allow tags to be created anywhere, not just through systems like del.icio.us.
For something that has supposedly been “simplified,” the description is remarkably long and technical. But I figure you smart people can figure it out.

Peter, given the usual extremely incisive (and often highly critical) nature of your comments, I really appreciate this concise statement of the value proposition.
You’re right. the discussion is long and technical. Realization of the value proposition requires some implementation. Look for news of that to come soon.
